MS BT IntelliMouse on my x50v
A few weeks ago I did the Broadcom BT Stack update on my x50v (WM2003SE) and my "Microsoft Keyboard Elite For Bluetooth" has been working like a dream ever since. I am loving it.

Now, I am just dying to somehow get the BT IntelliMouse to work on the Axim. I have scoured the forums and really the rest of the web and have totally come up empty handed. (Obviously I went through the whole run-around trying to get the Axim to detect it and what not.) There are a number of posts around that basically say that it's possible but that nobody has made the drivers.

I also have ThinkOutside's portable IR keyboard. Their drivers also automatically come with BT support for both their mouse and keyboard, but it does not even recognize my MS mouse.

Anyway, I was searching the threads again today and finally came accross a glimmer of hope:

This Thread Talks about BT mice and keyboards. At the bottom (Post#4), however, silentknight says this about the mouse:

"For the mouse you will need the modified Think Outside driver. I dont have a link for it."

I don't know if such a driver exists, but if it does, it seems like just what I would need.

Has anyone heard of such a "modified driver" and if so, where I would find it???

(Of course I am certainly open to other suggestions as to how to make the mouse work, but so far this seems to be the closest I gotten.)

*Hopefully* someone can help!

Thanks for fighting your way through reading such a long and arduous post!!!

Or this

apparently the second link is the same driver, but compiled into a cab file.

Now if this will work on WM5, i may have to take a scond look at the bluetooth keyboard, I want the standard elite, but if the BT can work, that would be worth some extra $$$

I don't think it works on wm5 - since it lacks so many bluetooth profiles for any type of interaction (except OBEX file transfer and Bluetooth dial up).

on wm2003/se, there might be a pointing device HID update/driver for the WIDCOMM stack (only on wm2003).

unfortunately, none of us have yet find a way to make widcomm bluetooth stack workable on wm5 (at least i tried numerous times to no avail, following xda-developers and other hack sites)....

Ha, and here the mouse drivers were right under my nose this entire time.

Ok, I got the mouse working and it seems pretty cool. However, no matter what I do now, my Microsoft BT Keyboard no longer works on my x50v, at the same time as the mouse. It won't even be able to type in Pocket Word again until I uninstall all of the modified ThinkOutside drivers. (It does work on its own though when I just use the regular T.O. drivers, even in conjunction with my IR Stowaway keyboard.)

(I have been using the MS keyboard with the default BT manager and the Broadcom patch.) Is there any way that both these managers can run concurrently? OR, can I get any sort of BT mouse profile for the default BT manager?

I feel like I am so close, yet still so far away.

Anyway, you guys have been really helpful. Hopefully there's a solution out there to this one too.
