Mine had a removable screw-in connector to the clip. I was able to take it out quite easily.

Is it stuck on with double-stick foam tape? I've seen those "break-away" tabs on the button on other stick-on buttons.

Interesting. Your clip connector is quite different from mine. Good luck getting that thing off.

WTH? It seems my knobs were welded into the frame... :realmad:
I seriously didnt anticipate this case to have an annoying belt-clip knob like this....

I thought all PDair Aluminum PDA cases had removable belt-knobs?

I wonder if this is a "fix" for the older models that were prone to having their screw-on connectors loosen and fall off?

Does anyone have a knob like mine and were able to successfully remove it?

well if I could see better pictures then it might be possibly to determine the problem.

on mine, if it's on super tight, I just use a small piece of rubber to grip the knob and just turn.

I have one too

If yours is like mine then the belt clip knob is attached with a rivet. After having a rhinoskin case where the knob is screwed in
and can come unscrewed and fall off with your PDA in it. If you want to take it off you will have to drill or cut the outside part of the rivet off. The outsite part is the smallest part and easiest to remove. Once you take the outside end off the inside part should push out. BTW I like my belt clip and plan on keeping it, that is my favorite way to carry mine.

That's what I was going to suggest, drill it out! ;)

yes it looks like a pop rivet to me - and to remove you need to drill out the inside , use a drill bit about 1mm larger than the inside diameter of the hole , and you probably only have to go 3-4 mm deep.

Mad

Crichey! This is even worse than the ones that could be taken apart by unscrewing them.... And the thing about it is, in the pictures on aximcases.com, they never even showed a knob! :realmad:
