Visiting Singapore - Need Axim x50 Accessories
Hey guys,

As I move from Australia to the USA on the 28th of December, I will be spending 3 nights in Singapore. As I'm sure my wife will drag me shopping, I figured it would only be fair if I go shopping as well So, I'm looking for help here from anyone who's living in Singapore or who may have visited recently.

As most of our accessores come out of asia, I'm hoping to find some for a cheaper price the when I get to the USA. The items I'm looking for are and thus hoping someone can help me find are:

Bluetooth Headphones - iTech S-clip first choice, then the Plantronics or Omiz
Bluetooth Keyboard - don't have a specific model in mind heh, what's the latest craze?
Extended Battery - It's a long flight...
A hard case - Hoping to find the Innopocket

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!!!
Chris

Well for Bluetooth keyboards, Dell Oz has by far the cheapest price for a Stowaway. A$110 or so as i recall. Also batteries from Dell Australia are much cheaper than American ones. 100mah are only $14, extended $60.

As for Singapore, finding accessories for my Axim was fruitless for me a few weeks ago. No cases, nothing at all. A hojillion cases for every single other brand and model but no Dell at all. Very frustrating.

Yeah, the keyboard is $117AUD right now, Hmm, seeing as everyone says the "think outside" keyboard is the best, and Dell's is a rebadged think outside, maybe I'll pick up one before I head out and yeah, I was debating picking up an extended battery from here but saw that dell singapore sold it for even cheaper, hmmm... wonder if I could have things shipped to my hotel

I have the "think outside" BT keyboard. I think it's great. Yet the the PDA mount is trash, it may last a couple of months. Wish I could help on an idea as far as singapore.

Enjoy your time in Singapore. Just don't vandalize any cars while you are there.

hi, got my x51v 2days ago and went shopping for a case and screen protector yesterday.

you can try the shop Edpol Systems on the 4th floor at Funan The IT Mall in Singapore . I bought my Piel Frama case (SGD$89) n screen protector for (SGD$22). The screen protector is kinda expensive but he did a dam good job sticking on the protector. Dustless n bubbleless. However he had only 1 case for Axims... the market here seems dominated by HPs, Palms, iPods, handphones, Nanos n O2 accessories. I have a hard time finding case n screen protector for my axim... so u just have to try ur luck looking for innopocket cases...

Hopefully this msg is not too late...
*exhausted typing this msg frm my Axim...*

You can try, but I doubt it will work. The Dell page requires a SING credit card and that your home address resides in SING, I believe.

But its a shopping heaven. Most important, get good walking shoes (you and the missus), as 3 days of walking around is very tiring. And trust me, you'll walk.
