Chrismax - here's my New Year's modified VGA cable-out WISH :yeah: - it comes in 2 Versions (in order of WISH preference):
Version #1 (preferred) :approve: :approve: :approve: : AAA
cable with integrated BBB power connector, where
AAA = Has both VGA connector plug-in, and S-video plug-in
BBB = would be able to connect both to AC & DC power sources via USB 2.0 (hi-speed) sync & charge
cable, as well as, support the exact same power ratings from: <<AC power source>> Boxwave sync-n-charge USB
cable and <<DC power source>> Boxwave car charger (high current 1 Amp output) - yes, I already own both Boxwave products. As an added bonus, the USB power connector would also allow those of us owning the Socket Mobile Power Pack and/or other USB power bricks to have yet another alternative source of power - This is why version #1 would be my preferred option.
Version #2 :approve: :approve: : CCC
cable with integrated DDD power connector, where
CCC = Has both VGA connector plug-in, and S-video plug-in
DDD = would be able to connect both to the Dell provided AC power adapter (100-240V~.4A, 50-60 Hz) and a DC power adapter coming from any car charger having high current full 1 Amp output.
By providing either one of these unique cables, you address 2 key shortcomings from existing cables: #1 connecting to a non-VGA device (i.e., Analog & Digital TVs, Portable LCD DVD players, etc.) and #2 having several options for a reliable steady power source to be able to use indefinitely.
Consequently, you would now be taking all Axim X50V/X51V owners one step closer to being able to play videos on our PC monitors, portable LCD players, HDTV's etc. via the TCMP player (previously known as Betaplayer which fully supports the Axim's built-in Intel 2700G Video chip).

As a road warrior, I wouldn't mind paying an extra premium for either version (I'll be willing to pay more for version #1, though). As usual, my road warrior colleagues would also be dying to buy the same
cable, and/or any gadget that helps simplify our crazy travelling lifestyles.
One last important requirement: it would need to be compatible with both the Axim X50V & X51V.
Merry Christmas & Happy Hannukah (falls on the same day, this year) to all. cheers...
