I'm looking for a usb sync cable that charges while the machine is turned on! I've bought two now and they are both sync/charge cables but they don't sync and charge at the same time! I had one for my IPAQ, but the ones i've bought only charge when the Axim is turned off and stop charging when the machine is turned on.......... can anyone help!

I bought one for $15 shipped on ebay and it works fine. This is the link. There are many more like it. There are also some brand name ones that are much more expensive. I've seen your avatar on another website. Dave's Ipaq site or IpaqHQ perhaps?

As I understand it, there is not enough power in a standard USB cable to sync and charge at the same time. Only the USB cables with a "Y" thingie to allow power at the same time will allow simultaneous charging & synching.
