I recently had chat with Dell support representative concerning several questions I had about my new X51V. One of the questions I had was concerning screen protector. Documentation indicated this was suppose to come with a Screen protector but from what I could tell there was none. The representative indicated there was one on the device. Given his answers to other questions I had I was skeptical and I can't see any edges of a screen protector on the device. Does anyone else know if this is true or not? The Dell site doesn't have screen protectors availabile for the X51V. What 3rd party ones are the best?

My favorite screen protector is the Boxwave ClearTouch

I've never heard of an Axim coming with a screen protector unless you order them separately. I would not recommend purchasing the screen protectors that Dell offers.

Welcome to aximsite. Lots of nice folks around here so post all you want. I didn't get one with mine. Just use your stylus gently until you get one. I get mine from cases.com They ship fast. I use cleartouch Crystal clear. They are expensive at 11 dollars each but have lasted me a long time. You can get a discount coupon code HERE

You can't beat Boxwave Cleartouch Crystal. I've used em for a couple of years now. I now use an invisible shield but I don't think they make them for the x51v yet.

They are now making them for the X51v as I have just ordered some.

For the last 5 years I have been using 8mm clear plastic that you can get at a fabric store for less than a buck for 3 years. It stays on from static cling and works great. I have used it with 4 palm pda's, 1 Ipaq and not my X51V with out any problems. I have had to make a different template for each pda but thats not difficult. The finished product goes on and off easy with great protection and clear as a bell.

Some? You only need 1 right since they have lifetime replacements?
