I think you do, because constant contact with the stylus can still scratch or damage your screen. I can see tap marks where the soft keyboard is on my Boxwave screen protector (after almost a year now).

What GiGi said and you need as much screen protection as possible if you want to keep it looking new.A scratched screen bottoms out your resale value.

Boxwave is supposed to be the best, but they're expensive. Most would tell you that you won't regret that purchase.

Another option would be the invisible shield. They're $11.95 with free shipping and free lifetime replacements. I have one. I absolutely love it! I have also owned the Boxwave Cleartouch Crystal which is also nice.

I just got a boxwave "clear touch crystal" and I'm very pleased. The screen looks just as vibrant as before and the protector is thick and feels high quality. The only drawback is that I'm not used to pressing harder to get it to register. I'm sure I'll get used to it though.

I had a 50v for a year and now have the 51v. I use the Sena case. Never used a screen protector and never will. You just don't need to. You will of course see dents in the screen protector as it is a soft material.

The Boxwave is great! I had one on for about 11 months before replacing it. It only got changed because of the scuffs I got from solitaire in the upper left hand corner.

On the very first palm I owned, a small grain of sand or something made its way onto the tip of my stylus, and I put a terrible scratch on the screen... I've put screen protectors on every pda and phone since.

I'm cheap though, I usually leave the same on on for a year or so.
