Upgraded battery or standard?
All,

I am thinking on buying a second battery. Is the 22oo worth the extra cost? Can someone give me a personal experience and comparison of the two? Thanks

I've got the 2200 and really like the extra run time (especially with a CF gps card in) and the extra weight makes it fit nicely in my hand. I noticed that Global Batteries has this battery for $15.95. Haven't bought from them but am ordering a battery for a digital camera.

Like the previous response, it does depend on your usage. I prefer to have standard OEM spares (I have 4). First, I can bring a spare with me though I have not yet needed it and second, I like to rotate the batteries every couple weeks. That's probably more habit than necessity, but I'm old!

I have an extra 1100mah battery and love it. Since it is the same as the original I don't have to worry about extra battery covers or buying special cases.

I'd like to get one of those 1800mAh batteries. It fits in most non-hard cases and seems to be a nice increase in battery life. Too bad they're so expensive.
