I received my black Piel Frama case yesterday, and it's really nice leather and a great quality case. In fact here she is:



But the one thing that bugs me is the headphone design. I'm not sure I like having to remove my headphones to close the case. Perhaps this is minor, but it bugs me a little.

Then again, this is the only good leather case that offers full protection for the Axim (I have an x51v) which is the main reason I chose it. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautifully made case, and I can see why so many people love it. But I'm just not sure its right for me.

I was thinking about returning it, or selling it on the forums here perhaps (since I lose my shipping money to AximCases if I return it anyway), and just wait until a case design comes along that offers exactly I want (if that ever happens...).

Or am I being too picky?

Too picky! I have the same case but in two tone black and brown. I have dropped my X50v on two occassions and have no damage at all.

It grows on you.

I have the same case but with the extended battery and I love it! However, I don't use the headphones so can't help ya there!

That's a terrible design flaw with the headphone jack opening. I have the Sena flip case that looks very similar to yours. I have dropped my Ax a couple times, no damage or scratches. Also I would never get anything with that strap. It just gets in the way.

I grant you it is a pain if you use headphones alot but the cases are superb, but if you don't use them alot it's no biggy and there are always bluetooth headphones.
