Hi all.
I have bought a "Wireless IR Keyboard IR-503, which the seller on Ebay told me, was compatible with the Dell Axim X51V.
I can't get it to work, i have tried a numerous of different drivers, but no luck.
Is there anybody out there that have this keyboard working with the Axim X51V?

If you have the ir ports lined up, and the keyboard's input method selected, then everything should work. Did the papers that come with the keyboard say its compatible w/the x51, or did the seller only say this? If it is compatible, it should work.

It was the seller that told me it was compatible with the X51.
The paper say Win CE system 2300.

If anyone knows a web link for the software or could send me a copy of the IR-503 software that will allow me to use my IR-503 keyboard with an Axim X50, I'd really appreciate it. I foolishly forgot to remove the installation CD before I tossed out the box for the keyboard. Now I have a keyboard that can't be used because I don't have the software.

I have an axim x51v and a keyboard ir-503 but there are not the drivers for the mobile windows 2005.
what can I do for making to work the keyboard?

I have a Belkin IR keyboard, and I had to use the ppc 2002 drivers, and you MUST uncheck the "Receive all incoming beams" box under Start Menu --> Settings --> Connections --> Beam.
This was the reason I couldn't get mine to work at first. Hope this helps!

to make to work the keyboard IR-503 on the wm5:

- if you have the last version ROM to install otherwise the drivers 2003 else 2002

- to remove the check on connections--> IRDA

- to put the check on "enable keyboard" and when asks to make the reset say of no!

to every reset to repeat the procedure.
