cf fm card?
Is there a cf fm card that is not too bulky(hopefully isn't coming out of the axim) and uses the axim's audio gateway (either 3,5mm headphone jack or bluetooth headphone)?

the only one i know of is the ibiz radio

http://www.mobileplanet.com/us/product.asp?code=120203

it does not use the headphone jack on the axim, but it is controlled by the axim (via a program) and uses a full size headset jack.

many retail stores have it as well

you can get small FM players from dollar stores... personnaly i wouldn't pay extra so it gets its power off my pocketpc...

Its a cool idea though... would be cool if somebody hacked it, and made a system where a cd-player could play data through an fm transmitter, and this thing would pick it up and return it to normal...

could be done with ir too i guess... that would be awsome, but it would have issues keeping up at a resonable speed w/o BT or wifi...

Thanks for your answers

Grentz I have already come across the one you suggest, probably in one of your posts, but I am totally put off by the external head jack.

superatrain I was hoping for an all-in-one solution to toss my iriver FM-CD mp3 player away, the only alternative that comes to mind and I'm willing to explore is a bluetooth headphone with fm radio built in maybe

I just want to let you know that I got one and it works with my Dell Axim x50v under 2003SE. It will not work with WM5. I emailed IBIZ and they told me that they have no plans on making any drivers for WM5 and was surprise to learn that it works with 2003SE.

You can get it from Dell for under $30.00 Here the link Dell IBiz CF FM Radio

They show it for the Axim X5 but like I said, I know for a fact that it will work with Axim X50v wm2003se
