Headphones and Mic for Skype on X51v

Hey there guys and girls of Axim. Im looking for a really good headset with mike for the my x51v.

Im currently using a Logitech Headset with Mic for Skype on my Desktop.

What Id like to know is there the Pocket PC equivalent thats alot more compact(Sleek Earplugs with a mike)and delivers the same if not close to same quality that the bigger variants offer?

I know I cant use Bluetooth Headsets :) So Im looking for the best wired type that any of you guys know of or have.

Any feedback would be appreaciated thanks again :)

Seidio makes one compatible with the X50/X51 series. Here's a link to the review:

Adapters so you can use your own headphones/mic are also available from Seidio and PC mobile.

No problem. There is also a review for the Seidio adapters in the Review section but I didn't bother posting the link as I am posting from mobile. :)

You can't use stereo headsets since a2dp isn't supported in the stack, but have you tried to use a mono bluetooth headset? Should be ok for Skype.

We're not talking about BT stereo headphones, but wired ones which require no A2DP stack. :)

Dell sells a $29 headset with mic for the X51/X50 line, but I can't seem to find anybody on this forum that has one and is willing to say how well they work.

Oh, I completely forgot about these. The one big difference between these and the Seidio ones is that these are mono and the Seidios are stereo. Here's a link for those interested:

Dell headset

Headphones and Mic for Skype on X51v

I just loaded Skype on my X51v and needed a headset.
The Sony PSP headsets have the 4-conductors needed but sounded bad.
Then I ran across Plantronics M40S. Stereo headset with mike and adapters to use as stereo headphones on cell phones.
Mine are from Walmart on clearence for $14.00:approve:

Why Not?

Just install the Widcomm stack (CAB install now) and you're good to go. I use my bluetooth headset with Skype on my x51v.

Cheers
