Good Lord! Problems with Mag Case!

This just arrived in the mail about half an hour ago. I slipped my Axim into its sleek black sexiness and let it sit for a while, and now, I can NOT get my unit out of the case! I wanted to put the Axim in the cradle, but I'm afraid it's going to get damaged by trying to slide it out of this extremely tight-squeeze case!

Anybody else had this problem?

Anybody want to buy my new Mag case? If I ever get it out of here, I'm switching to a different case. I can't imagine wrestling with this every time I want to put it in the cradle.

Mine was a little difficult to get out the first time or two, but now will come out without a sweat. If it's safe(some advice here please) perhaps putting it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to let everything shrink might help. Or just a small cooler with an ice pack.

Donna:

Perhaps the Ax also loves the sleek black sexiness?

I push from bottom up, carefully with my thumb, a pain but works!

Welcome!

Never heard of the freeze'em routine although that does work for failing HDD's sometimes.

My Axim X50v is difficult to get in and out, but by pushing very hard on the bottom, I can get it to budge. Then it slides the rest of the way fairly easily.

Ugh, forget it. I just tried again, same problem. It's up on ebay at a $33.00 buy it now.

Thanks for the suggestions but I think I'm going with Bellagio.

Not sure if you sold it yet, but in case you haven't, try not putting any pressure on the side of the case i.e. squeezing the sides as you hold it. I noticed that when I hold the case on the sides, I tend to be squeezing it and thus creating more friction making it more difficult to push out from the bottom. I usually flip the cover over flat, put my pointer and middle finger on the hinge, and lightly hold onto the sides just for stability. With my other hand I push up using my thumb at the bottom of the case where the sync port is. Takes a little bit of umph, but it comes out easily now.

I about died laughing today at my friend as he was examining my new Magnum case!
He darn near broke his thumb trying to get my X51v out!
He was squeezing so hard to hold the case with his left hand that the Axim wouldn't budge!
I took it from him and slid it right out... he was flabbergasted!
