I bought an IR-503 infrared keyboard and mistakenly tossed out the installation CD and user manual with the box. Now I have the keyboard and no way to install it. I've searched the internet and can't seem to find a website that posts the installatiion software or user manual. Can anyone help? I am going to use the CD with an Axim X50.

wow, thats a hard driver to find. Its generic and i think its impossible to find. Ive given up. Your only bet is to find someone who ones the same keyboard to get the driver.

I finally found the IR-503 drivers and downloaded them from someone's personal site. Apparently, there is no widely available public website that makes these drivers available for download. The file for the drivers was 4.16 MB in size and covered various platforms of PDAs and operating systems. I had no problem installing the drivers for my Axim X50 and the keyboard worked immediately.

The IR-502 WM2003 driver on this site works on my Axim X50v Maglite WM6.0 ROM for IR-503 keyboard

Just turn off incoming beams under settings/connections, check turn keyboard on in the IR program and click NO when asked to soft rest. Works excellent until next time you have to soft rest so I put the CAB file on my SD and just reload it when I have to.

any idea how I can install an ir-503 onto my Axim x50v running wm2003 using my my vista desktop? the installer I downloaded from Power Seller won't work with vista, saying it needs activsync. suggestions welcome! thanks.

I have a IR-503 and it is installed on my x3i. The problem is that when you push certain keys they get mixed up with numbers like if i push A it comes up with a1. and Z doesn't even work. when you push that it comes up with 9 or something. I need help!!!! Any ideas?
