Vent Mounts
I'm contemplating getting a Gomadic or Arkon vent mount for my pocket pc.

Are these removable enough if I ever want to get rid of it? How well do these work?

The cup holder mount is too low, and I don't really want anything on my windshield...

I have an Arkon DM320 with the adapter plate and vent mount adapter. I can remove the vent adapter from the vent in about 30 second. The trick is to pay attention to how it "snaps" into place. So far I never needed to swear at it while taking it off, that should show you how easy it is.
With my setup, I have a Sebring Convertible, the Axim screen points a little low, but nothing I couldn't get used to. The nicest aspect of a vent mount, is that you do not have anything blocking your view, and the mount will not fall off.

They're pretty easy to remove and work well, especially if you can mount it in a vent close to the cigarette lighter.

I've had a few rental cars that it works with, but could be better -- bad angles and the such. We also currently have a Chrysler van that has vertical vents in the middle. I can mount it to the left of the steering wheel and stretch the charging cable over the steering wheel out of the way.
