There are a few different solutions. Audiovox (now UTStarcom), Pretec and another manufacturer that escapes my brain right now all make CF GSM/GPRS devices to do what you want it to do. Here's an ebay link for something like what I think you want.

I would pay close attention to the devices as some are dual,tri, and quad band. You will more than likely need data service, but I've found that it's probably simpler and easier to get a workable bluetooth phone and connect to the internet through the cell phone. Then you wouldn't have to worry a bit about which provider you go with, just that your cell phone is Bluetooth DUN capable.
