Best screen protector for x51v
Hi Guys,

Currently I am using the Dell branded screen protector which I brought through their website. However it seems to be of a lower quality, got scratched just by using my stylus for 2 weeks . Also, I don't think it has any anti-glare coating at all. Which other screen protector will you recommend that would be more scratch proofed compared to this?

Thanks a lot,

iShapiro

There are already a few threads on this with a lot of opinions posted. You might try doing a search on "screen protectors".

After trying a few different screen protectors, I personally like the Boxwave Clear Touch Crystal the best.

Just got my first Boxwave. I kind of miss my Writeshield. This Boxwave is already scratched.

Cheaper screen protectors
Go to your local Tap Plastics store and ask to see their thin plastic sheeting. I got enough of it for two dollars to make screen protectors for the rest of my life.

Hi,
I've been using the same screenguard on my X51V since early Nov 05.I bought a package of 15 from Screenguardz, I was worried at first because of the low price but I am very happy with them. I used my axim about 4-5 hrs a day. Hope this helps

I have not yet recieved mine in the mail yet but a friend of mine just got a screen protector from www.theinvisibleshield.com and its totally aweseme. They have some very informative videos on there site you can check out too. I think I paid $11.99 for one custom fit for our axims. And yes there is free shipping, while purchasing choose "other shipping options" to get the free option. My first post woohoo, lol!

I started using Boxwave's antiglare recently and like it. I can read the screen and it seems easier to use caligrapher with it.

Another place to get the clear plastic is at a fabric store. I got mine there (8mm thickness). I got a yard for less than a buck over 4 years ago. I have been using it (after cutting to size from a card board template I made) for all of my PDA's ever since. It clings via static and works great.

These really look good. I didn't hear about them before but I decided to try them. They give lifetime replacement guarantee also...
