Hi all,

First I would like to say this is a great resource site for the Axim. I've followed some posts over the last couple of days in reference to purchasing the Axim x51v.

My Axim is on the way and I need to get some options for mounting in the car. My setup is as follows:

- Dell Axim x51v with ext. battery.
- BT GPS (most likely the Seidio RBT-2010).
- Some type of Mount that provides power for the GPS and PDA.

From numerous threads in the forums plus some research on different sites regarding a mount, I can't seem to find a PDA mount for the Axim x51v that supports the ext. battery and provides power at the same time. I've looked at the proclip and brodit mounts, both of which does not support the power options.

Has anyone with a similar setup (mainly the ext. battery on the Axim) found a mount that provides power for both the GPS and PDA? It's not critical I get this functionality but I would like to verify prior to making a decision.

For now I'm leaning towards the Brodit setup with the adjustable mount (not the one specific for the Axim) as recommended by another user on this forum. I can get a car charger for the PDA and one for the GPS as I would not need to have both plugged in at the same time but it would be nice to have that feature.
