Good cases that don't add bulk?
I'm looking for a good hardcase or a durable softcase. Anyone have sugestions? I'm looking for something that doesn't add too much bulk (so it could fit inside my pocket - A pocket pc in a pocket? no way ) Also I want my ax to be protected.
Currently i'm looking at Innopocket magnum case and and boxwave flexiskin. I'm really concerned with size but mostly protection and usability which the magnum case seems to offer.
After getting annoyed with the crappy slipoff case that shipped w/ the ax and a belkin executive case that leaves the bottom unprotected (not too mention is big for my tastes)i want something better. I should mention that i often carry my ax in my bookbag(in a pocket) so a flexiskin may not cut it but if I can carry it in my pants pocket with a thin hard case i want to know. I son't have experience with flexiskins so your experiences would be helpful
thx

Stay away from the Boxwave, you cant really call that protection, i would highly recommend the Sena, if you are on a budget look into Krusell's.

I use a Sena case every day since I don't need too much protection. However, I also ordered a Magnum case for when I go skiing or any other time I need additional protection. I am very pleased with how small it is. It is still more bulky than the Sena, but much slimmer than I thought it would be.

I have a "boxwave like" silicon case that I picked up at Meritline for $9.99 with free shipping. I wouldn't put it in a book bag, not solid enough for that, but it comes with a belt clip which I use, and it also fits in my pocket (about as bulky as the Axim slip case). It won't go in the cradle, so you would probably want to get a travel sync cable to sync it. It isn't recommended to take it out of the case much, because the case will lose its shape. If you want something to go in a bookbag, the Innopocket Magnesium is the best!

I bought a PDAir aluminum case which covers nicely and fits in my shirt pocket along with room for a pen. There are a bunch of cases out there though, so I will be interested to see other recommendations.

The InnoPocket Magnum is the slimmest metal case available and it's very nice! I had the RhinoSkin and like this MUCH better!

For metal cases, the Magnum is probably the smallest. (I've had the Magnum and the RhinoSkin, also.)

For leather cases, the Sena is probably the slimmest flip top case. It has a magnetic closure, which eliminates the need for a snap-on strap.

The rubberized skin cases are also pretty slim, but because of the texture of their case, they don't slip into a pocket very easily. There's too much friction.

Good luck!

If all you need is protetion while in a pocket then one of my cover's might work for you. If you want all around protection go for one of the one's listed above.

I used the boxwave aluminum silver case and didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Now, I'm using a Sena case that I won through AximSite and I'm loving it!
