Yes. It in NO way compares to a real digital camera but is good for video conferencing via your Axim and low resolution pictures.
Mostly, I got it to video conference... If I really want to take pictures, there's a ton of inexpensive cameras that'll do MUCH better! :approve:

They both use the same camera. 1.3 mega-pixel.

It's a generic camera that is put in tons of different applications.

I use the 2MP camera in my phone, and then do a Bluetooth transfer to put them straight on my axim. Works rather well

How do the CF camera fits inside your axim? Do you have to take out your case? (I'm more interested in the magnum case)

With the Magnum case all you do is open it and (if you already have a CF card in the slot) remove your CF card and plug in the camera! :coffeedri

Ok. I received my Veo Traveler camera the other day.

Here is my comprehensive review of the product:

It sucked.

Sorry for not being more specific, but I was seriously dissapointed and have returned it.

It was very cheaply made, and I expected that due to its price, but it was even worse than I expected. It made loud clicking noises when I rotated the lens that made it sound like it was breaking. It also made me very nervous to insert it in the CF slot, as it made cracking noises when I did this as well.

Picture quality was very bad and video was even worse.

I'd say the picture quality was equal to the web cams of 10 years ago. So if you didn't have a problem with this level of performance pick one up.

Oh.. and it also made my SD card disappear, which my axim had never done up until that point.

Buyer beware.

This is Veo's new SD Camera that is supported by the X50 and I'm assuming the X51v since it's almost identical architectures. It's the one I'm leaning towards since it takes 1280 x 1024 shots and has the new feature to focus in on objects. I've seen some with flashes out there.Sorry to bring back an old thread but wanted to add my two cents! I've seen some with a flash built in which seems more tempting, but I've read reviews that the quality in this cam is one of the best for the price.
