using the Dell XTBT01 bluetooth keyboard with the x51v
Hey guys,
i've searched hi and low for a good price on a bluetooth keyboard for the axim. I called dell and they said it'd be 145CAD shipping/taxes in... which is still a little too much... i found the Dell XTBT01 on ebay but dell doesn't seem to carry it anymore?!? so i can't get any info. on it. i'm wondering if anyone has used it with an x50 or x51?

I bought this keyboard off of ebay for $70 and use it with my X51v with no issues. I use the driver from thinkoutside (the manufacturer of the keyboard), it is avaliable on their website. The dell driver and the built-in HID driver should work too.

Funny that you posted this. I was just noting to myself what a neat kb the Dell XTBT01 was. After setting it up one time, all I do is turn on bluetooth to the axim and then crack open the kb. Hit the spacebar a couple of times to wake it up and off I go typing. One thing I don't like about it is stability. The left and right ends of the kb are elevated above the table a bit. If I type down a bit too hard the kb tilts towards the table.

The Dell kb only has 4 rows of keys, so there is no number row, but you kinda get used to using the fn key to type a number, so that isn't a biggee. The keyboard is very portable - its just a little bigger than the ax itself and it works very well. I like mine alot.

BTW, I use the Dell driver off of the CD that comes with the kb.
