Extended battery questions and case advice, please?
I just ordered my Axim x51v yesterday (woohoo). Today I am ordering the accesories. I got an extended (2200) battery for my Axim and I made up my mind on the Sena case as I have used Sena before on another devices and really liked it. However, I am not sure if I want the extended battery one or not. So my questions are:

1) I have spent years with my PDA in my left pants pocket. I even kept the huge Palm IIIc in my left pocket way back when. So I am not adverse to carrying a large object there but would prefer not to be overly encumbered. Currently I am switching from a Palm Life Drive to the Axim (it broke). So I was wondering if using the extended battery is comfortable to carry day-to-day?

2) For owners of the extended Sena cases, if I put the Axim in there with the regular battery, does it swim around alot? Does the Axim with the regular battery even work/fit right in an extended case?

3) How long, in real world time (i.e. based on your experience), is the battery life difference between the regular and extended battery?

Thank you!

It's thicker than your PALM but without a belt clip it will ride well in that pocket. Sena is slimmer.

Sena cases just rock. I love my iPAQ 2210 Sena case - it's so much better than other (cheaper) brands like Brando. I wish they were sold here in Europe too...

There are some exotic skin cases out of Australia that the ladies over at the-gadgeteer like but I say for a basic leather case Sena is right up there as far as price goes regardless of shipping/VAT/Tariff/ or handling charges. The only people better are Extreme-Limit out of Japan but they haven't made cases for PPCs in quite some time.

I've got that one as well. I really like the paddings protection but I only wear it on a belt' I'm a follower of the Dale Coffing school.

I have a sena for extended battery, and have used it with the regular battery before and it really doesn't flop around at all, it just has a little spare room in the back. And if it ever does seem to flop it's easy to put something back their, but it really is not needed.

Just put the regular battery in with the extended battery cover and it will fit perfect.
