All those cases will protect against scratches. Usefull if you carry in your pocket along side your razor sharp keys. The protection against drop damage is the same (e.g. none). I picked up the Sensa (blue/black) because you don't have to remove the case to charge it in the dock. If you don't have or use the dock then that feature doesn't offer a real benifit. All those cases allow you to charge with the normal cable or car carger.

The Sena case looks really nice. Has a deeper blue & black then pictured on AximCases. The color goes with dress pants and a tie or jeans & a t-shirt. I would have gotten the Stingray ($97) but unlike the Sena it wouldn't fit in the dock and uses a snap button to close. I've really come to LOVE how the Sena uses magnents to close the case. I just wish they were a little bit stronger (I keep a microfiber cloth over the screen).

Quality - Piel Frama is amazing - but, it does cost a bit more.
Functionality - all the holes are exactly where thye need to be.
Defending - had mine for a year - great padding and protection.

I'm sure everyone has their favorites.....

I also was in the market for a case. I am awaiting my X51v tomorrow.

For the case, I got something that look like the Sena, except $10 cheaper. Its EB Slipper and leather. I got it from cases.com here with 5% or 10% discount code. I forgot. I was thinking of the transparent plastic, but didnt get it.

It seems like my pocket gather lots of dust cause I use tissue/toilet paper. I will hand carry it or put in my laptop bag.

Krusell, I bought one for my Toshiba e310 3 years ago and I am now using it with my Axim. Not quite a perfect fit somw hard buttons are hidden but it works and it is still in excellent shape.

I'm in the same situation, going to buy a case today. I'm going with Sena. I've been using PDAs for almost a decade and I can tell you with sure certainty leather can definately protect a PDA from scratches and drops. I am pretty hard on my PDAs but am very careful of drops and liquid. However, I once wasted money on a hard case for a Palm V, dropped it while walking onto cement and the Palm broke. Haven't bought a hard case since. Used a leather case on my N760c, dropped it while sitting on my fire escape smoking a cigarette 2 stories down and it was fine.

Sena here.
The decided factor was being able to cradle while still in the case.

I had a Piel Frama for my X5. I was going to get one for my X51v, but it had a snap closure which I find a PIA. Therefore, I purchased the Sena w/magnetic closure, and I am very happy with it.

I use a MAg alloy Hardcase,

InnoPocket Magnum Case for Dell Axim X50(v) and X51(v) with Swivel Belt Clip
Its great and tough. Some people report thier charge and sync cables dont fit with the axim in the case (must remove from case to fin in cradle) But my cable works fine.
