Axim X50 battery works in Palm Treo 650 !

My Palm Treo 650 battery just died and I noticed my spare Axim X50v battery looked IDENTICAL to it. I popped in my AXIM battery and lo and behold the Treo 650 booted !
Can anyone else with an Axim and a Treo confirm this?

This means we can use the stock Treo battery (1800 mAh) with our Dell X51v but I dont how the prices compare and thats only good if you already have a battery door for that size. This information doesnt really help the Treo unless you can find doors for the Treo to use the 3300 mAh. Then, it will be a beast.

Also, batteries for PDAs, usually, have the same voltage so basically most would work for most devices but its just the sizing thats different. How does the battery fit?

Sounds cool, I got my 700w last week. If I ever get time to activate it I'll try the extended battery.

X50 for me I'll try it. BRB

Update: Not even close with the 700w battery. It was stuck so tight I needed a boxcutter to get it out. Is the X51 battery that much different from the X50? Do I need to be less trusting?

Nope, from what I know, they're exactly the same as Dell will ship you the same battery for both devices. On the other hand, you mentioned that your battery is for the 700w while the original poster mentioned 650. The difference could be there as the devices have slightly different design.

The 700w does have round instead of square edges at the bottom. But the battery's not at the bottom. You're probably right cng.

hello, is the Treo 650 battery same size as the x50v? If so, I'll buy a treo 650 battery for my x50v.
