I know there was a thread about cases and someone had used a small camera bag (with a velco closure) and a belt loop on the back. They bought a plain compression elbow strap to slide through the loop. The controls are not accessible in this configuration. I tried it, but found that since the belt loop was in the middle, the case felt like it was wobbly. (I have a small arm). A larger loop on the back and some velcro to keep it from sliding around, may be just the ticket.
I then got a cheap silicon case (removed the flip cover) and extended the slits in the back so they were wide enough for the elbow strap. The ax doesn't move, but it just "seems" like it could pop out of the silicon. The screen is exposed so I may try to velcro the flip cover down. I've only logged about 10 miles in this configuration and maybe a week or so in the gym. I mostly use BT and keep the ax in the locker or the back pocket of my running shirt, but it's nice to know this is a possibility.
I understand the feeling that there are more rugged and appropriate music players for this, but i really do like the idea of using my ax to the max.
guess i should have gotten total care.
