One of the main uses of my PDA's has always been to play MP3's. I put up with the earclip style headphones that came with my Clie for a long time. Better sound than I realized at the time, and I could still listen to my professors with them on ;). However, those earclips REALLY started to hurt after a couple of hours, so I moved on to these Sony's: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...52638?n=172282
I have quite a bit of disdain for them, plus I think they're damaging my hearing!
Just curious what everyone out there uses- wired, bluetooth or otherwise.
I use Bose Triport headphones when I want amazing sound, comfort, and to block out most noise.
They're the only really good headphones I have found to be able to wear without pain.
When I need something a bit more mobile, I have my philips that wrap behind the head. They don't sound nearly as good, but they're smaller and less bulky.
If you can afford them, the Bang & Olufson earphones sound great, clip around your ears so they stay on, are adjustable, and are comfortable for long use. Here's the URL...
I use a $10 set of Sony "earbuds" that you can find at any BestBuy. They are amazingly good considering how cheap they are. I can use them all day long without fatigue and the frequency-response of them is excellent.
I highly recommend the AKG Acoustics K-26P headphones. They aren't tiny like earbuds, but they are noise cancelling, fairly inexpensive (under $50), good for air travel, and they fold up in their little carry pouch for easy storage. Sound is great, I use them with my iPod as well. Can find them on Amazon, among other places.
I got a pair of these for my husband for Christmas, and liked them so well he bought a pair for his office, and a pair for me, so I'd stop stealing his.
I use Sennheiser PX100 headphones with my Axim, they fold up nicely into a hard case to protect them , and they give great sound for a relatively cheap price. I wear mine about 8 hours a day (where i work i have music on my computer and so i listen to it all day, don't just use headphones with my Axim) and they never feel uncomfortable, so no problems there. I never have heard distortion on them (unless i push them up to a crrazy volume, maybe i should sue Sennheiser for damaging my hearing ) All in all a great set of cans.
My sony earbuds stopped working a few weeks ago, and I was desparate to find a replacement so I wouldn't have to listen to my fellow commuters on the train on the way home. I got taken by someone at a local electronics stand and spent $20 on a 3-pack of horrible generic headphones.
So I finally decided to go online and do some research, and wound up ordering a $9 set of Sennheiser MX-400 earbuds. They are the best earbuds I've ever used in terms of frequency response, and for a great price.
I have Sennheiser MX-550. I did quite a bit of research and it seems like Sennheiser is a decent choice. It is $25. I believe this model just came out.
Any good inexpensive noise cancellation headphones? My brother in law just got the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 for $300. Sound great but that's a little pricey. I think 2/3 of the money goes towards advertising.

Hey Bubba, thanks for that brief review, I have been looking at those Sonys to replace my broken earbuds.
Right now, I am wearing a pair of noise-cancellation headphones. RCA model. I wrote a review (it should be up sometime Feb. 15). Note that, at $20 or so, they are quite a good value.

You guys all got me thinking about new headphones now! Here's a nice article w/several reviews from PC World Magazine. I think they mention several of the models or close to the models that were mentioned above.
I also use the Senn MX550 to replace my old Sony, due to the fact that the X50v is a little hard to change the volume... It is pretty good at doing its stuff.

Perfect balance of price and quality is Sony MDR-EX51 (or 71, 81 depending on your needs but the core is the same). They are cheap in-ear earbuds with awesome sound and they isolate about 50-70% of the outside noise allowing you to listen to music at a much lower volume comfortably.
