installing a screen protector outdoor
anyone ever try installing a screen protector outside? I find that installing it in the house almost always leaves a dust or two so maybe if i do it outside that won't be a problem. I've would've tried myself but it's all snow out here so I don't wanna accidently drop it in the snow . so if anyone has some experience please give me some insight.

Crank up the hot shower in your bathroom and install it after the room is full of steam. The steam keeps the dust down.

I think vou may want to try the steamy bathroom technique. There all dust; pollen, and dirt particles flying around all over the place outside. The steamy bathroom will leave you a dust free environment.

Or, clean the Ax first.

I use a soft cloth and LCD spray cleaner, clean, clean, clean. Then apply the screen protector.

Works great, nice, no water marks, no dust particulate.

Actually, even using the steamy shower method you will need to clean your Axim first, also. The steam will have no affect on the materials already adhered to your Axim. The steam in the bathroom will actually stick to any particle in the air. Becuase this adds weight to the dust particle it no longer freely floats and will settle to the ground. In essence you've made psuedo-clean room.
