I've had my Axim for a few weeks now, and since I need to synch at the office and at home, I'm looking at purchasing a cradle. I like the "spare battery" charger, and I've enjoyed using programs like Dockware on past PDAs.

My question is, should I just buy the Dell accessory,

or are there worthy alternatives to consider from 3rd party vendors?

I use the cables and forget the cradle, why? Because I can continue to play whist I charge! Cables (and cradle) are available on ebay.
