how tight to tighten magnum case belt clip screw?
hmmmm today i just got my magnum case, and a belt clip is absolutely necessary for me. because of all of the people who has had problems with the belt clip, i decided to tighten the clip extra tight lol. soon i found out that this may not be a good idea, as the adhesive actually was pressed out between the washers on the post.

what tightness level do you guys suggest? should i just not care about the adhesive and go as far as i can? should i not over-tighten the bolt in fear of breaking/stripping it? should i just bypass all of this and use something that will keep the screw in the hole better?

thanks for the suggestions. i know about the locktight trick, but the problem is, after all of my recent purchases, i can't afford anything :'(.

If it is anything like my RhinoSkin case then itis not adhesive, it is a rubber gasket. Mine does the same thing. Don't tighten it very tight. If you plan on leaving it on there I suggest you take off the gasket and crank it down, not too tight though, the aluminum threads will strip right out.

Kamel,

Are you referring to the Loctite thread locker? I still think that's the best way to secure the clip; there isn't much metal/thread in thin metal cases such as the Magnum. A tube of Loctite costs anywhere from $3 to $5 at your local hardware store, it's cheap insurance IMHO

You could try clear nail polish as well.
