Presentation Question
Is there is someone out there with an x51 (not an x51v) that can confirm the x51 can utilize a presentation cable.

I want to be able to view my x51 on a monitor but all I see is x51v users discussing the cable...

can anyone CONFIRM cable uses with an x51?

The V stands for Video aswell as VGA.

If you don't have a V you can't use the cable... you don't have the onboard electronics

Confirmed - if you don't have a V in your model number (x50v, x50v), you don't have direct video out. You will need to buy 3rd party hardware (usually a software + CF option; they work well but are not free).
