Question Does ANYONE use the X50-X51v lanyard loop? HOW!?

The hole for the lanyard is TINY!
I dont want to trust my Axim on a dental floss string, so why did they make it SOOO small?
Does anyone actually use it?

Usually, people just tie trinkets to it. A tassel, a small hello kitty thing...stuff like that.

My cell phone came with a small wrist strap. It has a nylon leader that would fit into the Axim. The leader isn't much bigger than dental floss but it is plenty strong enough to swing a cell phone or an Axim. I tied that wrist strap to a loop in my backpack and clip my usb drive onto it. I could have equally done the same thing with my Axim - in case it inadvertently fell out. I carry it in my back pack and from time to time find myself walking around with the zippers half open.
Well, that is just a suggestion of how to us the lanyard loop.

You could use that hole along with some sort of metal link to hang it on a necklace. It's probably a little too heavy to make a good necklace, though.

You could also thread and tie a string to the hole, then tie the other end to the stylus. That'll help prevent you from losing the stylus.

Yeah, I used to have a Sony NX60 prior to the axim and the strap it came with fits the eyelet perfectly. If you looked, it might seem silly to have a Sony strap on the side, but the function is perfect. Can't say how many times it has probably saved me $350, plus the busting of the family jewels explaining why I had to replace the axim!

HA.

Ditto regarding using the Clie NX60 strap. I think any camera shop would sell those kinds of straps...

Hey thanks for the input, I'll try to put my cell phones lanyard through it, if not i was thinking that a slender yet strong substance is fishing wire.
That would produce the magically floating Axim effect though...

I used a Sony CLIE UX50 strap. It works perfectly.

Well maybe not perfectly, because I dropped my X51v a few days ago.

I wasn't using the strap. I was testing shortcuts that rotate the screen and took my wrist out while I rotated. I am usually quite careful.

I did show unusual self-control though. I only kicked the dog once.
