If you can go and make a new connection in Windows, Fill in the number, username, password, and get connected without installing any of the companies software, you should be good to go.
I use earthlink and they say nothing of supporting PDAs, but it is just a dial up connection so it works great

So what you're saying is that one subscribes to Earthlink and now they become your ISP. Then by using one of their access numbers (a local one for you), inserting one's User ID and password in the PDA, one can access the internet in a dialup mode connection.
That sounds simple enough. Am I missing anything?
I know if I try to connect to AOL doing that, it won't connect to their service. One can connect via TCP/IP by being connected to another ISP, but I would imagine the Axim operating system does not support TCP/IP or does it?
Of course there is another way I believe by inserting a wireless card in the PC which is connected either via dialup or broadband and then sort of piggy-back off of the PC wirelessly, but that requires you to have your PC connect to the internet. The only problem with that is that if you are not home, then that method won't work.
