Don't know if this is going to help or not. I have purchased the hard cases that accommodate the standard battery as well as the one for extended battery from DSI (they are listed in the sticky thread on cases, here's a Link) And I'm very happy with both cases. They seem to be identical to the Rhinoskin or Innopocket cases. Quality and craftsmanship are excellent, fast delivery too. You might want to check with DSI to see if they would ship to UK. HTH.

This is nothing new. This case shipped with my Axim as an option almost a month ago.

Well I knew about it a few weeks ago, but didnt realize until a few days ago that nothing had been said on Aximsite. Anyway, if anyone would be interested in extended battery case.

Can that stainless steel clip thing on the back that portrudes out be removed? (I don't wear mine on my belt). If so, I'd be interested in getting the case also, Li0rE - I live in Ireland. I've their standard-sized case at the moment and would like to get an extended battery but only if I could get a hard case to fit it!

Well the store I'm opening is going to be shipping to the US by default, but I might make some exceptions for Aximsite members (PM me if you live outside US and will want to order case in 2 weeks-1 month)

Hmm...Interesting how you will be selling RhinoSkin cases if they have an exclusive agreement with Dell on all their Axim Aluminum Cases. $23.00 is a very good price!

To my knowledge RhinoSkin (Axim Cases) may only be purchased either directly from RhinoSkin store or Dell...

Btw, how large a 'bump' is the extension on the back of the new RhinoSkin (ie. in mm or inches)?

I'm wondering how comfortable it'll be to hold for long periods. For example, I often use my Axim to watch movies on long bus journeys and I tend to hold it sideways with the Axim's buttons to my left.

Also, if you lay it flat on its back, does it actually stay flat or tilt because of the bump?

I'd really like to get a case that holds an extended battery, you see, but not if it's too uncomfortable to hold...
