Not sure about that one but I have one of the Pelican's that work and I also just got the Datel from Best Buy and it's cheaper and better built than the Pelican. At $14.99 at Best Buy it's a nice external battery solution for the x51v.

Shady, if it works for the PSP it should work for the Ax. They have the same connectors and power requirements. If you decide to get it please post your results in the thread in my signature called "Pelican Power Brick Review". Everybody is always looking for a better solution.

Beckp, what caused you to get the Datel if the Brick works? How is the Datel better? Does it charge quicker and last longer? Can you measure your results and also post them in the other thread for everyone?

Well I figured what the hey .... actually I pulled out the Pelican last week after it had been sitting around for about 3 weeks and it was dead, no battery life. I had to charge it again, (which it did) but looks like it doesn't hold a charge for long. I would expect it to drain some but not all the way. Plus the Datel was cheap, only $15. I don't have any performace details other than I like it's contruction better. It seems a little more solid and I like the charging indicators. It has 4 leds that light up at 25, 50. 75 & 100 percent. It also has a "check" button that I'm not sure what that is, maybe a LED light test.

Not sure exactly how long it took to charge as the package said 5-6 hrs and it looked like it would take that long but after about 4 hrs I checked on iy and it was at 100% . I'm not sure how long it had been at 100% though.
