I have a x50v and go out of town frequently. I ordered a wall charger for this unit from dell (similar to cell phone wall charger). Dell has shipped me a total of 2 ac adapters now, 1 with a ac line in and 1 without ac line in included . What part do i need to make this adapters work and where can i buy 1? It appears that it is the same ac adapter that the cradle has! 120 volts in and 5.4 volts out @ 2410 ma!

There is a small connecter that hooks into the sync port. This link should take you to the location on Dell to get one:

You have no idea how hard that was to find. I have purchased them in the past, but DANG, it wouldn't come up in the searches I did.

Now, if that link doesn't work, then just type in this product number into the search box on dell.com and you should find it: 310-6932

You should have gotten the adapter when you bought the x50v. It is a little connector that goes into the bottom of the pda and then the cord from the power brick with the little round barrel connector goes into the other end of the adapter. It is little and some people missed it in the box when they got it.

Well, just got off the phone with tech support, 310-6932 is the correct part number (lolly popp as the tech called it), i told them it should have been sent with the orginall box and you should send me 1 for free replacement (i still have the orginal box, it was not in there), their reply was yours was sent with a dropin and ac adpter only . They connected me to cus care which quickly refunded the $30 amount, again. Now its time to call dell parts to order this new part for the 3rd time. Thanks for the quick responce, they ought to be paying u guys for the tech support here!
