So, because I got a new case from Innopocket (the old one had paint chipping), they want me to destroy my old one and send them pictures.
I'll comply, so I need destruction suggestions. Maybe some stress-tests or what not. Maybe a hammer. I can't run it over with a car because I don't want to blow a tire or anything.
Make this interesting...i'll do whatever will be the most appealing, while being safe

Ooooh! Fire? Explosives? Caustic chemicals? The possibilities boggle the mind. I would go with video of destruction via this.

Why do they want you to destroy it? My case (I have the same one) has a bunch of chips, and I have a fully functional PPC for it. Their case TOTALLY rocks. I am extremely happy with it. I was not aware they have a 'no chip' warranty on their product.
Since it is made of magnesium, perhaps something related to fire would be rather spectacular?
Cheers,
Kemo

first time I've witness a company requesting things like that
usually I would have thought a customer just send the old one back ... learned something new everyday !
well, i told them i didn't want to send it back because i didn't want to leave my axim naked
and i got the axim/case used, so i didn't have the original invoice, and thus the odd request
anyways, the case is actually a magnesium alloy, so i don't think fire would be too interesting...
and i don't have any flame throwers or anything fun like that...haha.

Are you sure about this? I asked them to change my case because of paint chipping about a month ago, and the only picures they asked was to prove my case had a bad paint job.
They did not ask me to destry my old case. In fact, I intend to remove the flip cover from it and make a car mount with the main part.
...give it to my two year old for 5 minutes... there'll hardly be anything left to take a picture of!

exactly...my innopocket magnum has chips and scratches all over it....why don't you scratch off some of the black paint to reveal the magnesium underneath, and then put a flame to it...i am very curious if it will ignite like crazy!!

i don't think it'll light...it's magnesium alloy, not pure magnesium
c'mon c'mon, i need more suggestions! hammers, dropping off buildings, who knows! liquid nitrogen (if only)....
i don't know :p
