Hi, I am new to this forum and to the Axim. I just purched the X51v and it does have BT. I heard that it is possible to link a BT phone with the Axim and get online. Is this true? do you need a certain type or brand of phone? And other in-sight will be helpful. Thanks

Visit the Wirelessw forum, up a level and 1/3 way down page. There is a tutorial on using a BT phone as modem. I use Verizon Wireless and get broadband (sort of) speed at 550 KB/s with an LG phone. See: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=31

just before you get too excited and use your axim to download loads of mp3 files... your phone company will probably charge you for GPRS... and most of them charge per mb unless you have signed up for a flat rate deal. So find out how much it's going to cost you...
