Your favorite pen stylus?
What are some of your favorite pen stylus?
I have at the current time a Belkin 4-in-1 Stylus, on my third one at the moment and wanting a new one, since the grip part keeps flaking off revealing a gold layer under it. It also bends at the part it screws together quite easily, so I'm wanting something for around the same number of features as this, around the same price, but better quality, and just want to see what everyone else uses and likes

Forgot to mention, I prefer the full pen sized stylus, simply because my writing is better with something that size, compared to that default Axim stylus size.

My personal favorite is the PaperMate PhD Multi with a stylus, pen, and mechanical pencil. I like that it's full-sized, has a rubberized grip, and I can use the pen and pencil features too.

I have that last one. But I warn you, there are 2 models.
There is a cheap one that i got at office max/depot for $5/10. Its plastic, has crappy laser and led, just feels cheap......
There is one that is metal (aluminum), that dosent have the LED, has a great writing instrument, and its what i have. I love it, have been using it for a couple years now. I purchased it at a Franklin Covey store. It was $25, comes in a metal case in a box. Its called a infiniter 3p.
If you google it you can find plenty of them.
The cheap one i think was a belkin....

I have one that I've had for years (going back to the first generation IBM Work-Pad, which was a Palm clone) from CROSS pens. It's full size, like a nice pen, black with gold trim and you twist it to expose the Stylus. The stlus writes smooth and and I like the full size.

quattrex (staples store brand) for $4.98 - comes with pencil, 3 inks (black, blue and red - you pick which 2 if you are using the stylus), stylus, erasers and pencil leads.

I have been using a Staedtler Multi 4 pen for a few months, $5.99 from Staples and I like it. I was using a belkin 4-in1 but it feels ackward to use. I will probably sell the belkin.

I have two....
I really like the Pilot Pentopia and it is the one I carry most often, it comes with a pen, .5mm pencil and PDA stylus. The pen is a full size ink pen and not one of those mini ones that writes a little then dies The Pentopia has a very solid metal body but is not very heavy. I like the little levers that you push down to select you pen/pencil/stylus as they are color coded for easy selection (think of the bic 4color multipens) I hardly ever use the pencil but it is nice to have and there is an eraser under the top cap.
My second favorite is the pilot Dr Grip duo and I think both pens use the same ink refill, the duo is my second fave as it is bigger and heavier though the rubber grippy section is real nice.
You can google but styluscentral has both, have tried quite a few stulus combo pens but these two are the best IMHO. You might look at the cross stylus refill as it fits any pen that takes that style refill and you can convert a pen to a stylus and the writing tip feels the best of any stylus replacement, it has more drag to it than the plastic tips do and feels more like natural writing.:approve:
