Where can I get generic batteries, or is eBay my best choice?

Also, are there any specific kinds you'd recommend for a generic and kinds to avoid? I need to get an extra 1100mah battery for my freshly-ordered Dell Axim X51v, as well as a leather (preferably flip) case that can hold the spare. What are some good online stores with resellerratings listings that sell these spares, shipped from the USA? If there are none, what do I need to watch for on eBay? Thanks!

I got a 2200mah battery for my x51v at global-batteries.com for $15.40, and it works fine. They also sell a 1100mah one for $17.95. Shipping was $7.

The 2200 is cheaper than the 1100. Does that make sense?

I guess you are concerned with the quality of the 2200mAH batteries. I too have bought the 2200mAH batteries from them and I'm 100% satisfied. As to why they are cheaper than the 1100mAH, it could be they came from a source who has lower prices, your guess is just as good as mine

There may be a lower demand for 2200 because they won't fit the standard cases so buying one means buying another case. I bought one anyway because I want to use it for GPS on a bicycle and my bike didn't come with a cigarette lighter. It won't work very well anyway because the display is almost invisible in daylight but it won't work at all without power.

how much bigger is the 2200 mah battery? did anybody find some extended battery cases? does it uglify the axim?
