Clairvue vs Boxwave Crystal vs Boxwave Anti-Glare
So of these three, the best one is? The Clarivue is like 1/4 the price of one Boxwave.

Specifically, what do you guys think of the anti-glare protector?

Thanks

The Boxwave anti-glare is fantastic for daytime reading. It looks a little "fuzzy" reading in bed at night, but I've gotten used to it. I'm happy with my purchase. Some people have a hard time applying it to the screen. I applied mine in aa work environment that has low particulate matter, using disposable gloves and wipes to keep it clean. There was a really good comparison of the crystal vs. anti-glare--maybe you could search for it.

I've got the Clarivue version. It's not anti-glare, but overall its a great screen protector. Couldn't be happier with it.

One a side note, my wife has one of the Clarivue protectors on her x50v and it is holding up extremely well (she's not at all nice to the device). They are washable as well which allows you to reuse them if you want to lift it because you got dust or whatever under it. The glare isn't too bad, and the screen looks really clear with it on.

Anyway -- if you want to pay $12 for 1 screen protector go ahead. I'm sure they are worth it, but if you just want to protect the screen and want a solid, reliable protector for cheap... the clarivue is excellent.

Plan on finding a "clean" area to install it in though. Like all screen protectors dirt is attracted to them like flies to .... well you get idea.

I have the boxware crystals, and love it, I have no idea of the quality of the clearviews, but I can't believe how much my boxwave has taken, i ply diamond mine all the time, but you wouldn't even know it from looking at my screen protector.

I will acutally be getting my mom one for her X5, she's been using the crappy dell ones, and deserves somethign good lol.

I'll acctually be buying another for my pda, so that i can take the one i have on their now and put it on my digital cameras screen, incase somethign in my pocket decides to brush up against it.

My Clarivue has been on my wifes x50v since November ... no signs of wear. Mine has been on my x51v for a month or two ... still looks brand new.

I've had mine since June 30th 2005 (Boxwave anti-glare), it's great: hard enough not to get scratched easily, soft enough for easy tap.

I also have the Boxwave Anti-Glare. Works really well. I've only had it for about 2-3 months; however, still works like a champ. In my biased opinion I would go the Boxwave.

I used a boxwave and was far from impressed. I found them difficult to install, dust magnets, and upon installation I must have put a tiny crinkle in it and it would never go away. So it always looked like a crack in my screen. I basically hated it. I'm going to try the clarivue next, expecially since the reliable and credible Netsyd uses them!
