Does the Rhinoskin Hard Case for Extended Battery damage AXIM X51V?

Hi, I am interested in an extended battery case and I like the looks of this one. I thought I read somewhere that these cases cause damage to the axim. Can anyone confirm whether this is true or not. Thanks

I had actually read the same thing about the Rhinoskin before I purchased mine. I went ahead and bought it anyway. I have not regretted the decision one bit. I religiously keep my Axim in the case whenever it is not in use or in its cradle. Not a single scratch on the Axim which I've owned since August. So, IMHO, go ahead and go with the Rhinoskin.

BTW, mine is an X50v with the extended battery. As far as I know, the x51v has the exact same dimensions.

It can cause a small scratch on the lower left corner of the bezel when you try to remove it from the case. I initially decided I wasn't going to use mine for that reason, along with the fact that I couldn't sync it in the cradle. But my usage is such that the X51v never sits in the cradle anyway; I travel a lot, so I charge it with the charging dongle and sync it via bluetooth.

So there's actually no reason for it to leave the case . . . thus unlikely to damage it :)

I found out the Hard way it will but only if you slide it out, if you lift it out and press it in, it's fine

I've used both a RhinoSkin and a PDAir aluminum case for my X50v. Both made some minor scratches on the periphery of the Axim, but both also saved it from falls. It's well worth the blemishes (plus you could always use a silver Sharpie to cover them up!)
