Outlook....
You have a hotmail account, you can set that up. Now, if you have the PAID yahoo account you set that up as well. Don't bother if you have the free one.

Here's how it works, the whole email on the go works best for those white collar people because their corporate emial are not in http format but in POP3! Your msn (hotmail) account, is the http format, but since dell has the msn messenger and stuff, it'll let you use your email account.

OKay, the POP3 account, to put it in ways that seems simple is this, your outlook has to look for an inbox and an outbox. The pop3 tells the outlook where to find your inbox and then your smtp tells your outlook where the outbox is. After that, the outlook will plug in your screen name and password, and then there's you email. If you have DSL or cable modem, chances are, they might provided you with a pop3 account. Something like blahblah@sbcglobal.net or whatever@rr.com

Those accounts can have the pop3. all you have to do is find their format. For example, SBC (now AT&T) are INBOX: pop3.sbc.yahoo.com and OUTBOX: smtp.sbc.yahoo.com.
Find yours, got to your PPC. Open your mailbox, click menus, click accounts, click new and then it is a step-by-step process and it will tell you where to plug in your pop3 and smtp accounts.

Good stuff. However I also have an IMAP email account that I actually use more often. How do I get that to sync as my inbox. They are both currently operating correctly in Office outlook on my PC, but my axim only sees the pop3 account. Any suggestions for this?

Thanks in advance.

To tell you the truth, I was never able to get my emails to sync with the 'puter. I just have a network in my house, and so I just click "send/receive" and my emails update. I used to be able to sync with the computer when I had the iPaq 3600. But for some reason, WM5 won't budge. However, there are IMAP software out there that are made solely for IMAP email accounts. Give them a try.
