Hey...Where is your belt clip ?
I finally got my new X51V and so far, I am very happy with it.
Thanks to everybody to making this site the best one on pocket pcs.

I bought the Brando Anti-reflection screen protector, based on your different feedbacks, and I like it very well. I just had to increase the brightness, and now, it's perfect, and I can use my Axim outside.

Since surfing Internet will be one of my main usage, in addition of playing games of course..., I noticed that Wifi eats my battery soooo fast.
So, I am going to buy a case that can fit with an extended battery and I understand it has to be a leather case (too bad that I can't use the Magnum case, cause I like the design and the material, but there are also some very nice leather cases).

The summer is coming, so I will be attaching my Ax to my belt, cause I will be mostly wearing just a T-shirt.

So, the question is, how do you deal with the belt clip when you use your Ax outside ? Do you extract the Ax from the case, and use it while the case is still attached to your belt ?! Do you unclip the Ax from the belt clip, and then use it in its case, while the bel clip is still attached to your belt ?! Or do you extract everything from your belt and use the Ax, but I don't know how you would handle the case with the belt clip attached to it ?!!!

I would be glad if you have any feedback or tactical solution ?

MY Sena case has an excellent push button release system that allows it (the belt clip that is) to stay on when I remove the case. The flip cover makes it easy to hold while using and putting the case back on the clip is simple and secure.

I do not use a case. I have my unit in my left front pants pocket (jeans or drss pants). I do have my phone clipped to my belt though.

There should be a push-release button on your belt clip. If not, try to find one that fits your case. I would recommend that so you shouldn't have to take your Dell out of the case. I am just Mr. Cautious because you never know if somebody bumps into you or something and then, "BAM", you drop your dell. At least with the case, there is some protection.

I don't use a belt clip very often. When I am away from home, I use my 1100 battery and rhino case. I wear cargo shorts, so my x50v is always in my pocket. I also bring my extra 1100 battery. On rare occasions I bring my extreme Pda case because it allows me to combine my keys wallet and x50v into one case. That goes on my belt. My 2200 battery is really only used at home online (along with my hard case).

This is what I use.It has a belt loop on the back and my X30 with PDair case fits perfectly.I don't have to worry about the belt clip comming unscrewed and dropping my Axim.
I forgot to mention. you can get this case at Walmart for $.97,Targus brand.

The last time I had my ax in my cargo pocket, someone lifted it straight out without me feeling it. Now my new one stays on the belt all the time. The clip is really handy.

Hello jgabin,
For the extended battery, leather cases are not your only option. There are plently of hard cases that support extended batteries. My Rhino case is an example. You can look at http://www.aximcases.com/
for examples of many cases.
One heads up though. I stopped wearing my Axim on my belt becasue a couple times it would get caught on something as I move around and the case would get knocked off the clip. In other words, just be careful.

Congrats on your new x51v purchase. Your are going to love it.

Thanks, but the only case I like is the Innopocket Magnum
And, by the way, I promise not to wear my Axim on my belt if I am going out to get drunk !!!
