hi, everyone, i hav an idea but not sure can be done or not. i plan to put on the silicon skin to my axim x51v then but both together into the pdair aluminium case with extended leaf........but i am not sure whether can be fit or not..anyone try before????? thx

I doubt it will fit. The silicone cases increase the thickness all around the device, whereas the hard cases for the extended batteries only provide extra room where the battery is located (i.e., at the back). Unless you want to do some major modding (i.e., removal of the interior of the hard case), I don't think this would work.

The aluminum cases have their own lining inside and don't need anything else. Mine isn't a Pdair but I think all are about the same. They have some kind of thin black lining like rubber or something. The x51v fits very tight. There is no room for another skin or something.

That black lining is just a very thin layer of foam. I like foam, it keeps my pda happy and safe.

If you're going to keep your axim a HARD case, why bother with the slicone skin??? Especially when the aluminium case already has a lining.
