Anyone use Gomadic car mount??
This car mount looks like it has alot of options for mounting youe AXIM. Has anyone here used this before. I am not interested in GPS just a powered mount that is stable and secure. Here's the link. Let me know what you think before I buy.

Hello!!! Anyone there????
Anyone use Gomadic car mount?? Am I asking an obscure question?? Did my original post go in the wrong area??

http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=126347

I'm a newbie to the site, but not to PDA's or technology. Somebody throw me a bone here. I have seen so many posts about the same three mounts over and over. The (PROCLIP) is not a good option for my truck and I don't need a built in speaker(SEIDIO) since my radio has an aux input on the front. Just wanted to know if out of all the people here if any one has any experience with Gomadic mounts or products. Here's the link again in case no one saw my original post.

Thanks.

Looks like it will work. I think if you search you should be able to find one for less money. I use one for gps that costs $50 from Seidio.

POwered car mount - do not get it
Powered or not. This one has the "squeeze in" sides with button click to release. You will find all kind of problems with your side buttons being pushed any tim ethe car moves.

The soft wallet option (X51V std) is much better. What are we talking about here. Powered GPS mount. Sureley you would elect the bluetooth GPS and the only wire you have to connect after that is the power cable to the Axim.

Your call. I have tried the mount you were after on the older X5 and all I got was reset and record problems all the time.

Cheers
