RECOMMENDATION Needed
PLEASE, can I get some recommendations from you experienced X51 USERS? I need another sync/charge cable so I don't have to bring my cradle home from work every weekend and I have something easy to use when I travel. I have only seen the Belkin. Would it be best just to buy another cradle?
Another question. I am a nurse educator and have loaded many nursing reference programs which I use daily. My Axim though seems to have slowed down and "stutters" and I often get the WSOD . Any advice would be so appreciated.
Thanks!

If you like the device to be standing while charging so you can access the information and view it clearly, I would go for a second cradle. Sometimes you need to soft reset the unit to clear things up and get things working faster again. BTW welcome to Aximsite

Welcome to Aximsite. Have you done the fake server trick? It should help you with your WSOD.

As for the cable, why not go to ebay and have a look. I bought a sync cable from ebay and it works great for me. Able to sync and charge.

If you're looking for something very small that can sync and charge via a PC's USB port and can work well in a car for GPS, I highly recommend the Boxwave minisync. After using the Dell branded travel cable and a couple of different cheapie ebay cables, the Boxwave is the only cable that met my expectations. I use it daily. The fake server trick should cure the WSOD. For tha slowdowns/stutters, have you installed any new software lately, particularly today screen pugins or task switching utilities like Wisbar? Welcome and enjoy!

I got a second cradle from a firm on ebay that cost £5.99 + P&P I also got a Dell sync cable from expansys - you should be able to get either from either source.

If your interested I have a Belkin Charge/Sync Cable I'd be willing to part with, i dont use it at all because when i need to charge my axim i just stick it in the cradle or if I'm gone i have an extra charger with me.

I bought another Dell cradle from ebay. Price was about half from what Dell was charging.
