Spring loaded stylus for x51v?

Hi all! I just bought a x51v (it's lovely!) and was wondering if anyone here knows of a stylus I can use with it (ie fits in the stylus slot) like the one palm supply with their lifedrives.
The palm stylus is much better, it's spring loaded which means it elongates for use and is easier to get out of it's slot because it pops up proud of the pda when you depress it's end. All in all, a much better stylus than the cr*ppy one we get with the axim.
Anyone have any ideas?:)

A spring loaded stylus would be better. But the way the axim is set up you would have to have the stylus coming out of the top a bit, so there is room to push it down.

One thing I hate about spring loaded ANYTHING is that when accidently pressed they either shoot out like discus's (SD Card) or missiles (Styli) or drop out and get lost. (Where are you my 512mb sandisk!!)

As far as I know your out of luck looking for a spring loaded X51/x51v spring loaded stylus

lol, it wasn't quite that bad with the lifedrive, it just popped up, rather than out :)

Ahhhhh... another happy LifeDrive transient... Mine died on me as well and I refuse to go through the constant rounds of RMA's to try and get a working device..

I also agree that the stylus was great. When I'm working at my desk, I still use the LifeDrive's stylus... too bad it doesn't have a home in the Axim.

Any idea if the LifeDrive MicroDrive can be removed and used int eh CF slot of the Axim?

If I'm not wrong the liferive microdrive would not be compatible with CF slots, coz they're based on the IDE interface, not a CF interface. With some modding though...
