Weight: Innopocket Mag

What is the weight of the Innopocket Mag Case? I know it is "37% lighter" than aluminum but I don't have an aluminum case to compare it to.

Currently I use a leather case (Boxwave?) and the slipcase that My Axim X50v came with. Weight is somewhat of a concern since I like to try and keep my gear bag as light as possible (even grams/ounces count!).

Is the Mag case lighter than my leather one?

The Magnum case will be lighter than your leather one. The Magnum case is about as light as the aluminum case but the metal is about three time as thick as an aluminum case. It is also more rigid. I hope this helps

I've never weighed it on a scale but I can say it's very light for a metal case. Not to mention it looks sturdy, like a tank. I love it.

when you just have the case in your hand it feels very light - and when you put it on the axim I suppose its the sightly extra bulk that makes it feel heavier - but overall it is a great case - has saved my axim a couple of times now.

When I got my Innopocket case, I was worried it wasn't real! It feels way too light to be metal, and I thought maybe I was receiving something made out of plastic. But it is pretty darn strong and feels like metal. I'd say its worth whatever it weighs, and it has to weigh less than a Rhinoskin aluminum beheamoth.
