HP Photosmart Camera
Hi guys, I have a HP Photosmart Camera and I'm having a real hard time with the lousy QVGA ppc app bundled with it. You need to focus the lens before taking the picture, but with the terrible display you can't tell it you are focusing any good. Do you by chance know if there's any other compatible program I can take pictures with?

I'm not too sure I understand your post. I use my Axim for storing a few favourite photos which I view with Resco Photo viewer.
I'm not sure where the "manual focus" comes in. Perhaps you could post again with a full description of what you are trying to do.

Click on the link....its an SDIO camera. Plugs into the SD slot and allows you to take pictures.

I do have the camera. I'm having a hard time taking pictures with the lousy QVGA software. I just can't get the focus right because, since it's QVGA it looks blurry any way I set it. I was wonering if you could use the HP Photosmart SDIO with any other software that supports VGA and/or works better. Thank you very much for your help. btw it's a nice laptop you've got there, mate...

Try using OZVGA or Tweaks2k2 to brute force VGA mode to the application for taking pictures. It will probably then run your program in VGA mode. This also worked for GPS apps that I needed in VGA mode but only supported QVGA natively.
