How to Install WriteSheild C2???
I got my WriteShield C2 over the weekend. I brought it to work to install onto my X51v but I noticed that there are no instructions included / or forgot them at home (I only bought one single shield, not the pack so it may have gotten overlooked to be included in my delivery). Can someone post the install instructions or point me to them? I can seem to find them using search or on the PocketPCTech site.

Thanks.

Here's a step by step from pocketnow. One of the Gadgeteers also did a review with some instructions.

That's the way it went on my install. You probably didn't get a brush with the single protector so be sure to use something to clean the screen corners before you install it.

Yea..I've got all that stuff already. What no one has told me is what side goes down onto the screen. Not even the atricle posted above explains which is the face-down-side.

When you peel off the protective film the sticky side is the next layer down. So Film > Front of Protector > Sticky Side. You can kind of see it in pic 9 of Tim Adams review.

So with the just peeled side facing you bend the front down to slowy reveal the sticky side which you align with the top of the screen.

These things are so clear folks that this is not a silly question.

That's the problem. I just destroyed the sheild. In attamps not to touch the face of the protector, I held it by the edges, not even knowing there is a sticky/non-sticky side nor knowing that either side matters...again, no instructions to follow. I assumed that the peel-off side is face down...WRONG!!. After using the stylus to chase out the bubbles, I soon realized that perhaps there is a right and wrong side and I happen to choose the the wrong side down as the stylus gouged the protector. Note to all: The face-down side is hardly scratch resistant.

I emailed PocketPCtechs and they told me that they DO NOT ship instructions with non-kit purchases...their choice I guess... This seems very odd and suggested that in the least, provide a link to their site where one can review, online, the proper installation proceedure. I think my suggestion may have fallen on deaf ears though.
All-in-all, they have offered to send me a replacement sheild which is a very generous offer and their email support has been excellent so far. Except for this minor mishap, PocketPCTechs are an outstanding group.
